WATCH: Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s families ‘will sit in the SAME suite at the Super Bowl in Las Vegas’… to ensure they can all watch together – Check out where they will be
The Japanese Embassy in Washington posted on social media that she would make the Super Bowl in time, including in their statement three Swift song titles – ‘Speak Now’, ‘Fearless’ and ‘Red.’
‘If she departs Tokyo in the evening after her concert, she should comfortably arrive in Las Vegas before the Super Bowl begins,’ it said.
The Associated Press reported that Swift stepped off stage at the Tokyo Dome on Saturday night and was rushed straight to her private jet at Haneda Airport.
The journey will see her travel 12 hours and 9,000 miles to see her boyfriend potentially capture his third Super Bowl ring. The flight number is a clear homage to Swift’s 1989 album.
Flight 1989 gave a warm welcome to the traveling Chiefs Kingdom with red and yellow flags draped over the back of seats, hailing United as ‘proud to fly the Kansas City Chiefs ‘.
United’s official X account also teased the flight by posting a photo of a plane ticket with three friendship bracelets, with one spelling out the airline’s name, as a nod to the Swifties’ custom of exchanging the pieces of jewelry at her Eras Tour concerts.
Kelce and the Chiefs are gearing up for their fourth Super Bowl appearance in five years on Sunday, where they will aim to become the first team to retain it in almost 20 years.
