Seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady has revealed how he handled the pressure of being the NFL’s best quarterback and the methods he used to protect not only his body, but his mind and mental health.

Brady, who turned out for the New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers across his career, said that he used a book written by an Indian psychiatrist in order to help improve his own mental wellbeing and performance

The book, titled “Calm Your Mind With Food”, was written by Uma Naidoo and appeared on his Instagram stories feature with a caption that reads, “A grat book, with a grat approach to mntal wllnss through dit. Somthing w can ALL us to improv our livs.”

The 46-year-old ex-QB has been a long-term advocate for physical fitness and mental conditioning and this is the latest instalment in his chapter of openness and activism in those areas.

The book aligns with his TB12 Method, his holistic way of living life that he pioneered with Alex Guerrero, his personal trainer. It stresses emphasis on pliability training, nutrient-rich diets, plant-based diets and hydration.
