Patrick Mahomes CAN join the Kansas City Royals for spring training… MLB team tells Chiefs star he ‘is welcome anytime’ after QB revealed he wanted to ‘see if I can still hit the ball or pitch’

MVP, Mahomes is also a part-owner of Kansas City’s baseball team and a former baseball ace who thought about a career in the major leagues.

With all his success in the NFL, Mahomes recently expressed his interest in seeing how he stacks up in baseball by joining a spring practice. After hearing Mahomes desire to train with the team, Royals manager JJ Picollo gladly said he would gladly have the quarterback over.'[The] Problem is when we’re in spring training, he’s out celebrating Super Bowls. The timing doesn’t always match up. It would be neat, though. It would be neat to have him. We would love that.’

This is not the first time Mahomes showcased his love for baseball. Aside from his regular attendance at Royals games, the quarterback participated in the Big Slick celebrity softball game at Kauffman Stadium last year.
