Netflix has confirmed that Puerto Rican music sensation Bad Bunny, also known as Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, will be stepping into the world of comedy by joining the cast of Happy Gilmore 2.

Bad Bunny’s role in the movie remains a mystery for now, adding to the anticipation around the film’s release.
In addition to Sandler reprising his iconic role, co-stars from the original movie Christopher McDonald and Julie Bowen are also set to return as Shooter McGavin and Virginia Venit.
For Bowen, this is a chance to revisit one of her earliest roles, before she gained widespread fame on shows like Modern Family, which earned her two Primetime Emmy Awards.
Bad Bunny will be joining a host of new faces in the sequel, including comedians Nick Swardson and Benny Safdie, whose roles are also under wraps.
