Stephanie Stumph became a mother for the second time a few months ago. Now she’s filming again for “Der Alte” – and it seems her baby will get an early taste of the film world.

Stephanie Stumph (41) is back on the set of “Der Alte” (The Old Fox). The actress is reprising her role as Detective Annabell Lorenz for the ZDF crime series. However, she’ll likely have a new set of filming routines, as Stumph became a mother to her second child just under two months ago . The sweet thing: On the first day of shooting, her little fan seemed to be curiously peering over her shoulder.

Mom’s break? It seems Stephanie isn’t having one at all; instead, the popular actress is back filming shortly after the birth of her son. The 41-year-old recently shared a snapshot of her new script in her Instagram story: The title “The Old Man” is visible in a red binder. Right next to it are a large baby bottle and an electric breast pump. Mom Stephanie jokingly captioned the photo: “Day 1 of shooting. All equipment here.” But wait a minute! On closer inspection, we see even more. A tiny baby, wearing a striped onesie, is nestled on the forearm of the person in the background. Whether that’s Stephanie with her little one, she hasn’t (yet) revealed.

Stephanie is now the proud mother of two young boys, together with her partner Dr. Florian Santner. Her eldest son, Anton, was born in June 2022. Even then, the busy actress threw herself back into work just a few months after Anton’s birth. How does she manage the balance between motherhood and the daily grind of filming? “When I’m working, my son is always with me on set. Everyone in the family helps out, they practically fight over him,” she once revealed to Bild.de. It seems she’s introducing her little ones to the magical world of film from an early age.

Just as she once did herself, as the daughter of German actor Wolfgang Stumph (79). Stephanie also appeared on screen with her father, for example in the ZDF crime series “Stubbe – Von Fall zu Fall”. Whether three Stumph generations will one day appear on screen remains to be seen.
