After Six Months of Romance, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Reportedly ‘Very in Love’ and Ready to Tie the Knot
ran its own report debunking it. A source close to Kelce and Swift told The Messenger that “there are still no plans for an engagement. It’s still new, and they’re happy and still getting to know each other.” Swift and Kelce have only been dating for six months.
The clarification came after a source claimed to Page Six that Swift and Kelce were planning on a summer engagement. They had initially been considering a holiday one, that insider alleged, but decided against it and a Valentine’s Day proposal because “they don’t want it to seem like it’s rushed insanity.” That insider added that “Taylor and Travis discussed it, and there is a plan. They will get engaged on their one-year anniversary in July.”
Clearly not, per The Messenger’s insider, but that hasn’t stopped trying to speculate how soon the couple will get engaged. Despite their romance being relatively new, some media outlets and fans have treated their getting married as a question of when, not if.
