Jay-Z’s legal team is pushing back hard against a civil lawsuit accusing the rapper of raping a 13-year-old girl after the 2000 VMAs. His lawyer, Alex Spiro, recently filed a detailed motion that outlines multiple inconsistencies in the accuser’s claims, describing them as “demonstrably false” and demanding the case’s dismissal.
In his 30-page motion, Spiro dismantles key aspects of the accuser’s account. For instance, the woman claimed the assault occurred at a gated mansion, but records indicate that Jay-Z and Diddy, who is also implicated, were in Manhattan at the time. Additionally, the accuser mentioned specific celebrities at the event, but those individuals did not attend the 2000 VMAs.
