Things seemed to be going fantastic for actress Nicole Kidman at the Venice Film Festival but tragedy just struck her before getting a acting award for her performance in the film ‘Baby Girl’ that she arrived to promote at the event. She was expected to go on stage and accept the award that honors this performance but she wasn’t present when it happened. The Academy Award winner received the news of a tragedy that struck her family on Saturda. Her mother, Janelle Ann Kidman passed away at the age of 83. Kidman released a statement where she confirms the terrible news and had to leave Italy at once to be with her family.
