Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are facing criticism for allegedly depriving their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, of their fundamental rights by keeping them distanced from the royal family.

This claim comes from Meghan’s father, Thomas Markle, who recently opened up about his desire to meet his grandchildren.

In an interview with Woman’s Weekly, Thomas Markle expressed his sorrow over the children being “denied” a royal upbringing and the chance to bond with their cousins, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.

It struck me as very sad that Meghan and Harry’s kids are being denied the right to know their cousins, who look like fantastic children, or take part in things like Trooping the Colour, which is their birthright,” he lamented.

Thomas Markle further commented on the growing curiosity that Archie and Lilibet might develop as they get older.

“They are getting to the age where they will start to ask questions, as all kids do,” he said. “I find myself wondering how Archie and Lilibet will feel in a few years’ time when they realize all the things they have missed out on.”

Highlighting his own personal feelings, Thomas Markle added, “The Sussex kids have two grandpas who want to see them,” jokingly noting the irony of being in a similar position as King Charles.
